Christian Veterinary Fellowship

I served as Fundraising Chair for Christian Veterinary Fellowship at Auburn University. Our mission is to share the love of Christ through veterinary medicine. In many remote parts of the world, animals are vital to peoples survival. Each year we help sponsor students on outreach missions to those regions of the world. By offering our services as veterinarians we can preserve peoples way of life and serve the Lord by serving others.
I believe that the relationships are the most important part of life. Being in veterinary school can be very demanding of your time and many students are far away from home. It can be all too easy for relationships to fade…those with your God, family, and loved ones. They require constant nourishment and commitment. Through fundraising and outreach programs we are able to help build relationships between students, faculty, and the community. Each semester we hold weekly lunch meetings that are sponsored by local churches. It is a time that all are welcome to come for fellowship. I will always treasure the new relationships I built and truly value the lessons I have learned about patience, discipline, and compassion for others.
